You are invited to participate in the development of an Arts and Culture Strategy for West Vancouver by completing this short survey.
One of Council's eight priorities for 2015-2018 is to update the District of West Vancouver's Arts and Culture Strategy.
Input from the community is important to the success of any strategy. You are invited to participate in the development of an Arts and Culture Strategy for West Vancouver by completing this short survey. The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes of your time.
The District recognizes the increasingly important role that arts and cultural amenities and activities have in our community. These amenities and activities create experiences for residents, enhance civic pride, celebrate culturally diverse populations, and contribute to the quality of life needed to attract people and investment across local economies.
With increased importance comes a need for a more comprehensive approach to planning for the future art and cultural life of the community. An effective Arts and Culture Strategy will produce an overarching vision and strategic planning framework to guide the District and its partners in organizing, coordinating and priortizing arts and cultural amenities and services to respond to current and future community needs.
If you would like to attend a public workshop to discuss the Arts & Culture Strategy further, please subscribe to receive email updates.
Arts and culture can mean a variety of things. For the purpose of this survey, arts and culture are defined as facilities and activities that express the following forms:
- Visual Arts
- Libraries and Museums
- Performing Arts
- Film and Video
- Digital Media
