Veterans, Seniors & Human Services Levy - Survey 2017
Thank you for sharing your priorities and perspective about the needs and strengths of veterans, seniors, and vulnerable populations in King County. Your input will inform planning for the proposed Veterans, Seniors and Human Services Levy. The levy, if approved by the County Council and by voters, would replace the soon-to-expire Veterans and Human Services Levy (VHSL).
The proposed Veterans, Seniors and Human Services Levy would build upon the current veterans and services levy. The current levy publishes detailed annual and mid-year reports that track the current levy’s expenditures and the performance of its programs. Those reports are always available online for public review.
During the second half of 2016, County staff began a conversation with King County residents through 2 online surveys and 34 in-person community conversations and focus groups. 742 participants shared their perspectives, and staff used what they learned in these conversations to write two reports (Report 0010 & Report 0009).
