Thank you for participating in Open City Hall dialogue about trees.  We listened and funding has been provided to suppress the fungus disease anthracnose on public property London Planetrees and Sycamores.   Based on bud development a fungicide will be applied next week (4-16-12)--weather permitting.   Flyers providing information and notice of treatment will be distributed to households prior to service.   Contractor providing treatment is Service Institute Inc.    To inquire about having treatment provided to private property trees at private expense please call the contractor at 801-860-6167 or the Urban Forestry office at 801-972-7818.   Thank you for your support!
