- State law requires the City of Palo Alto to develop goals for electric energy efficiency savings for the next 10 years. These goals are to be redeveloped every three years and forwarded to the California Energy Commission. Should the City Council approve the proposed 2010 Ten-Year Electric EE Plan with a goal, double that set in 2007, to save 7.2% of the electric needs of the City by 2020?

- Should the Council approve one or two power purchase agreements to buy 3% or 6% of Palo Alto’s electricity from landfill waste gas, a renewable energy source, for a period of either 15 or 20 years?
