Update: March 15, 2007

 A month after the survey, the future of the Kwikway is still uncertain. It appears that the community feedback had an effect on the Fatburger franchisee, Chester McGlockton, as he has not yet signed a lease to go forward with the original plan. I believe he is exploring other possibilities for the site with the Hahn family. The forum also proved very enlightening to me, as it revealed the full range of opinions on the issue. I will keep working to find a long-term solution to the existing blighted property.

If there is future news on the Kwikway location, I will issue another email update.
