Community Online Survey #2 - “Building Heights and Community Benefits”
Welcome! Thanks for taking this survey.
Over the past two years the City of Cupertino has been working with the community to update the City’s General Plan. The General Plan is the overarching policy document that acts as a “constitution” for all future growth and development decisions made by the City. On December 4, 2014, the Cupertino City Council formally adopted an amended General Plan called “Community Vision 2040” (please visit the project website at: www.cupertinogpa.org for more information on the City Council’s December 4, 2014, decision and Community Vision 2040).
The City Council, however, did not approve changes to (1) existing height limits or (2) the proposed Community Benefits Program. The purpose of this survey is to gather community input related specifically to these two topics.
The survey is divided into two parts. Part A includes 11 questions about you and your views regarding building heights within Nodes and Gateways. Part B includes 13 questions about the draft Community Benefits Program and building planes.
This survey will officially close at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on March 3, 2015. The complete results of this survey will be made public and presented to the City Council in March 2015 for their review, discussion and consideration.
