Commercial industries should be in a commercial area like Mare Island.

I have additional comments related to adult use marijuana operations not addressed in this survey:
I hope the City Council can put together a package for a few new Retail Operators to come into Vallejo, with a nice new Tax, maybe 10% additional for Retail Only sales, that might be directed towards lower income housing improvments or some other worthy and necessary area.

I have additional comments on retail sales of adult use marijuana:
As 2 cities have done, they allow delivery non store front for those communities that have be devastated by the "War on Drugs" If fact, one city have only allowed 4 additional store fronts for communities that have been devastated by the "War on Drugs.

I have additional comments on delivery of adult use marijuana:
Have a Delivery no store front

I have additional comments on cultivation of adult use marijuana:
Have at least 2 or 3 that for the communities devastated by the " War on Drugs" (WOD)

I have additional comments on manufacturing of adult use marijuana:
Include WOD

I have additional comments related to adult use marijuana operations not addressed in this survey:
WOD folks should be apart of this industry. I am sure the and the Police department have the stats on the areas that have been devastated buy WOD and can be the zones to allocate the businesses.

Should there be regulations on types of items sold (e.g. no candy)?
Other - There should be NO OTHER ITEMS sold other than marijuana. Other items has the potential to draw minors and young adults.

Allow retail sales but not near these places:
Plaza Drive Shopping Area (Target, Costco), Downtown, Alcohol establishments, More than 600 feet from schools, day care/youth centers, Parks, Other - No retail sales in Glen Cove area. It has limited access and egress and no firestation nor police substation. Too congested with single family dwellings with children., Other - No retail sales without security on their premises.Always check for ID for adults only. Card all who appear young, like alcohol. None sould be sold in any small grocery outlet like 7-11 or mom and pop stores.

I have additional comments on retail sales of adult use marijuana:
Although the State has legalized recreational use of marijuana, the federal government still considers it illegal. The danger is that the federal government may disregard and enforce the laws. Also, like smoking cigarettes, please make sure that smoking marijuana on public premises, especially near schools, parks, public buildings, government buildings, shopping centers, wherever there are presence of children and minors, should be banned. What people smoke inside their own abode is their own business and should not be openly and callously shown to the public. The smell of smoking cigarettes is disgusting and the smell of marijuana is double the disgusting smell. At times it smells like a dead skunk which we have a lot of already in Glen Cove. Glen Cove is a congested community with limited egress access and is full of single family homes with children.

I have additional comments on delivery of adult use marijuana:
Delivery of adult use marijuana could potentially be dangerous as the delivery person could be carjacked and could potentially be hazardous to the innocent bystanders. If that happens, it will be the fault of the governing bodies of Vallejo that allowed this to occur. Expect a potential liability issue and start putting away funds to pay out. Ever since marijuana has been legalized, there has been a rise in people driving under the influence of marijuana and or alcohol.

I have additional comments on cultivation of adult use marijuana:
Definitely keep cultivation away from areas with children, parks, schools, shopping centers, areas with single family dwellings, etc. Cultivation can be a fire hazard scenario if not strictly regulated by the fire department. It is a liability for the City if it is not properly regulated and located in areas close to the public.

I have additional comments on manufacturing of adult use marijuana:
Same concern for manufacturing of adult use marijuana. Keep it away from areas that have children and homes, schools, shopping centers, etc.

I have additional comments related to adult use marijuana operations not addressed in this survey:
What people consume within the confines of their own premises is their own business. It is the government's and the community's business if marijuana is used in the open public venue. Do not 'force' it upon those that does not agree with the use, especially the children and young minors and adults.

I believe dispensaries should be regulated like liquor stores.

I have additional comments on delivery of adult use marijuana:
Delivery services that do not pay city taxes are hurting dispensaries that do. This is wrong.

I have additional comments on cultivation of adult use marijuana:
Prohibition is over. I intend to cultivate in a closed greenhouse that generates no smells. By the way, if you happen to ride a motorcycle, you can easily know where the grows are in Vallejo.

I have additional comments related to adult use marijuana operations not addressed in this survey:
This industry is here to stay. Vallejo is prime for earning huge tax revenues and setting new standards of service, security and satisfaction. Please don't screw it up.
