Thank you for weighing in on this issue. Clearly there is support for the City to help turn this dream into a reality. We will take your vote of confidence to our elected officials, and pursue their help in reopening the rink.

Project Update:

We were one of five entities to make a purchase offer on the building. As of May 31, 2007, no offers have been accepted. The owners have appealed the landmark designation to the City Council. They feel that the landmarking is significantly lowering their ability to sell or develop the building. Please plan on attending the hearing on July 10, 2007, and help us keep the building a recreation facility.
