Peak Democracy is hiring!
We are looking for smart, dedicated people to join our growing team of employees and contractors that are passionate about how online civic engagement can improve governments and their communities.
Our platform software is the state of the art in providing online public comment forums that are civil, fair and legal as well as insightful and easy to use.
We are looking for account managers, marketing/sales representatives and web developers. If you think that you're a good fit, and are interested in applying your skills to our mission, then send a brief email along with a link to your resume to jobs@PeakDemocracy.com.
Your goal is to create customer satisfaction by helping government staff (your customer) apply best practices for online public comment forums in their community. In the process you will help broaden civic engagement and build public trust in government.

Experience with high level tools (e.g., blog or Wordpress) to design attractive web pages is also required. After an initial training period in Berkeley, you will work from home 20-40 hours per week: account management and customer service is done over the Internet.
Your goal is to identify and call your assigned prospects, identify the department or decision maker who has responsibility for community outreach, introduce Open Town Hall and schedule a demo.
You will receive initial training in Berkeley, then attend trade shows throughout the US (about twice per month). The remainder of the time you will work from home 10-40 hours per week.
